The Special Monkey

I can see Ancano City from afar. It looks beautiful from up here all the glowed-up stores and people with light-up hats. Maybe I will visit someday.

I live in a small town called Preno in Ancano City where there are a lot of animals around like dogs and monkeys. They are really friendly. One monkey even gave me a lollipop! I ended up buying one. He was a small light gray monkey with a pink color face, a wide smile, and small ears. He also has a top hat! There was something special to him, but I do not know what. He is not an ordinary monkey. He looked more like a wolf than a monkey. I took him home and said, “What’s your name, little guy?” As he responded, “Leon,” I was in complete shock. As I responded, “H-how d-did you d-do that.” Leon took off his top hat and chuckled, “I’m a shapeshifter. I’m not an ordinary monkey.”

I was shocked by Leon. He could not believe his eyes; he could not speak out of shock. About six hours later, Leon made himself a boat. I was so amazed. After Leon made the boat, there was a knock on the door. I opened it and there was a man dressed in a striped brown suit. He asked me, “Have you seen a light gray monkey with a top hat?” As Leon told me to nod my head no. I responded, “No I have not. I was in the house all day.” 

Leon thanked me with joy jumping happily but very silently. The man said, “Thank you, have a good day,” as I closed the door. But afterward, SWAT showed up with tanks and guns. But little did I know, he had already seen the monkey. Leon and I ran out the back door and hopped over the fence and ran to the forest not looking back, but at this time Leon had shapeshifted into a lion and put me on his back running to the cave.

We stopped running when we got to the cave. I asked Leon, “Why did he come back for you?” Leon responded, “He used me for an experiment to make a dangerous species.” I told Leon, “ We have to go back, it is the only way we can stop this virus.”

Leon said, “It is too late, it is already made.” I responded, “It is never too late.” *Leon transformed into a lion again and picked me up and took me back to the SWAT team in front of my house.”

“Wow! there are a lot of people,” Leon said. But previously, I made a video talking about the man in the striped suit, and a lot of people researched my address to protect me. More and more people started coming and SWAT had to back down. Later, the SWAT team had to leave because of the tension and chaos due to the video. But, that is not the end. The FBI has not given up yet.

(At the FBI’s office) The Surveillance investigator said, “What are we going to do about this monkey? This monkey is not what everybody thinks he is. This monkey is vicious and smart and will betray you.” The intelligence analyst responded, “If only we could warn Vin’nyla about this monkey or she will get seriously hurt. (Vin’nyla and Leon’s POV).

Vin’nyla and Leon walked inside of the home as Leon brought another monkey, but a normal monkey. They were not speaking English, it was a different type of language that sounded like a type of Latin.
