Disney dropped the trailer for its new live-action telling of “The Lion King” to huge excitement on social media. Live-action films have created a different feel for many of Disney original films.

Tim Burton created a unique version of “Alice and Wonderland,” which was the first live-action film created in 2010. In 2019, Disney fans are sure to be delighted with the upcoming live-action movies.

“Dumbo” is set to be released on March 29, 2019. The first teaser is not as colorful as the original animated film, viewers only see graphics of him flying with his enormous ears. “Aladdin” will be in theaters on May 29, 2019. Will Smith will be playing the voice of Genie, and Mena Massoud is Aladdin. “Power Ranger” star Namoi Scott will be playing the beautiful Jasmine.

“The Lion King” is a story about a lion cub’s life from childhood to step into his destiny as head of his pride. Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” is one of the inspirations of the animated movie. The story is centered around Simba who is the only son of Mufasa the King of Pride Rock.

When Simba’s uncle, Scar, creates a plan to become king, he involves Simba without him even knowing the ultimate goal. Scar sends Simba to the valley then creates a stampede of wildebeests. Mufasa saves his son, but Scar brother kills Mufasa.

Simba runs away from Pride Rock with a guilty conscious believing he killed his own father. On his journey through the jungle, he meets two new amazing pals, Timon and Pumbaa. The trio goes through their journey with the motto Hakuna Matata, which means It means no worries” for the rest of your days
It’s our problem-free philosophy.” As Simba becomes adult, he realizes that he needs to step into his King role at Pride Rock.

Jon Favreau is the producer of “The Lion King.” His filmology includes “Elf” (2003), “Iron Man” (2008), and “The Jungle Book” (2016). The cast for the remake of “The Lion King” is amazing.

The Prince of Pride Rock will be played by Donald Glover, and Beyonce is Nala.

King of Pride Rock, Mufasa will be played by the original actor James Earl Jones. He will be accompanied by Alfre Woodward as Sarabi. Pumbaa and Timon will be played by Seth Roger and Billy Eicher respectively. The Zazu will be played by John Oliver. Black Panther’s John Kani will be the role of Rafiki.

Behind the funny hyenas are fantastic comedic talents. Eric Andre will be Azizi, Black Panther’s Florence Kasumba as Shezi, and Keegan Michael Key will play Kamari. JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright will be playing young Simba and Young Nala.

“The Lion King” release date in the United States is July 19, 2019. It will open in some countries the day before. Disney fans in Italy have to wait until August 21.
