If one has the pro plan, then they get 50 points. These points are how one pays for the reports. Each report costs 45 points. To purchase 45 points costs $50 each time, or $45 if one pays yearly.
Another thing users are annoyed with is the fact that people are forced to use the owly URL shortener. Clients could see that a business is sending their information from HootSuite, which could cause some customers to stray away thinking that the business does not check their social media. There is the choice to purchase a custom URL, but it will cost $49.99 per month. This will cost about $588.88 per year, not including the domain purchase.
Though Hootsuite could become costly, it is still a great platform to use as a social media management system. One will have all of their social networks in one place with constant access to all of them. This is great for keeping track of one’s brand.
TweetDeck is also a great social media management system. It was designed to improve organization and functionality across all of a person’s Twitter accounts. Unlike HootSuite, TweetDeck is only for Twitter. TweetDeck is ideal for individuals and businesses that need to organize social media profiles, manage multiple accounts. TweetDeck is totally free to use.
