Word has it, that Sharron Angle has put in her bid to take the seat of U.S. Representative Mark Amodei in the June 2018 Republican Primary.
She announced a year ago that she will run for Senate in the 2nd Congressional District that covers the Northern half of Nevada. Even though voters in the 3rd Congressional District have never elected a Republican, Angle is in great faith that she will win.
When she filed, March 5th, 2018, she was said to have made a statement that Amodei was making bad decisions for immigration and Obamacare, which was the main reason she chose to run.
She has been involved in politics since the early 1990s when she was first elected to the NYE’s county school board. She served the Nevada Assembly from 1999 to 2007 and unsuccessfully ran for the same congressional seat in 2006.
Angle is in favor of lowering taxes, fewer government regulations, and more individual freedom. She also was in favor of repealing Obamacare and would like to see workable immigration laws.
