Republican Racial Rhetoric Rages on With the President as Its Instigator

Republican candidates have joined President Donald Trump’s aggressive racial rhetoric. It appears they have embraced the country’s leader’s attitude that anyone who is not a native-born citizen has no rights in America.

Right-wing news sites, voters, politicians alike join the president in creating and promoting conspiracy theories against non-white, non-Protestant, and non-citizens. They use unintelligent and derogatory terminology when referring to the Democratic Party and left-leaning entities.

These actions have emboldened White Nationalist Groups to no longer wreak illegal havoc in the background. Their belligerent and atrocious criminal activities have overflowed into the daily lives of their self-proclaimed enemies.

During October, two men, one a devout Trump fanatic and registered Republican, launched their own versions of MAGA. Both are facing double-digit federal charges for their actions.

Cesar Sayoc not only sent pipe bombs via the USPS to prominent Democrats but he also waged a threat-campaign against numerous Democratic Party candidates.

Robert Bowers entered the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, armed with several weapons and assassinated 11 people simply because of their heritage. He told arresting officers he wanted to kill Jews. Rumors indicate that is disappointed with Trump’s stand on Israel and his Jewish daughter and son-in-law.

Honestly, what did anyone expect from fans of a man, who during his Republican Presidential campaign, declared,

I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.

During his first months in office, he had the opportunity to show America he was not a racist but he failed. Trump’s ambiguous remarks about the Alt. Right militia’s supposed peaceful protest in Charlottesville, Virginia demonstrated his racism fell short. He passive-aggressively tweeted and later defended this statement:

You had a group on one side who was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent, and nobody wants to say that, but I’ll say it right now.

republicanOn the one-year anniversary of the Charlottesville Unite the Right rally/riots, the president proclaimed there is no place for hate in America. However, he speaks with the forked tongue of the serpent by proclaiming racism needs to end but his actions prove otherwise.

President Trump is obsessed with the term Nationalist. Using this terminology, he has alienated America’s allies. However, the term is shortened, it infers he is a White Nationalist. This is evident when he talks about the population south of the Texas and California’s borders. Some of his memorable racist comments are:

Why do we want all these people from ‘shithole countries’ coming here? [Referring to South American countries]

They’re not putting their good ones…And yesterday it came out where, this journey coming up, women are raped at levels that nobody has ever seen before. [Referring to the caravan from Honduras]

When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. [Referring to Central American countries]

These aren’t people. These are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a rate that’s never happened before. [Referring to illegal immigrants in the United States]

republicanRepublican candidates like Sen. Ted Cruz (R- Texas) hold unreasonable ideas about barring foreigners from the county. His father is from Cuba. Who would Cruz be if his dad was blocked from entering the United States? He exhibits racism against his own people and zealously guards the border against immigrants who are of Latino and Hispanic descent.

Nestlé Purina PetCare Company and Land O’Lakes Inc. announced on October 30, 2018, they were no longer funding Rep. Steve King’s (R – Iowa) campaign. This action was taken after the companies reviewed the Republican’s Twitter messages following the murders at the Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Congregation. According to ClickOnDetroit Channel 4 news, they discovered:

Sharp rhetoric about race, ethnicity, and immigrants over the years, including his retweet of a statement by a Nazi sympathizer.

republicanRepublican members of Congress and candidates are not alone in the endeavor to lambaste Democrats, whom they refer to as “wacky left-wing nuts, libtards,” and fascists.”

Right-wing sympathizers, Republican, and Trump fanatics spread gossip, not facts, on social media. They mimic the president stating all stories against Republicans are fake news, then rapidly share conspiracy theories from unverified sources.

Frankly, it is embarrassing, irritating and insulting because journalists, newscasters are doing their jobs. The is no doubt that there are nuts out there who love to stir up controversy, hatred, bigotry, and chaos from extreme Republican/right-wing and Democratic/left-wing leaning news sites. s. The legitimate news sites serve to inform the citizens of the world.

Respectable journalists review the facts, check numerous sources, and cite those sources within their publication. They refrain from spreading fake news, Journalists are tasked with reporting stories to keep citizens apprised of necessary information so they can make fact-based decisions when they vote.
