Who is Reginae Echols? She is a rising senior from Chicago, IL, who attends Westinghouse College Prep. In her spare time, she loves to read, binge watch Netflix, and write. She is passionate about a lot of things but has a special interest in justice and law. For this reason, she found herself drawn to the New School Internship. Considering the riots, and the increase in awareness of racism in present-day America, She felt the need to say something. Unfortunately, her audience was limited to her high school, however desperate to reach a broader audience, she applied to the New School Internship. Her dream is to become an International law and human rights attorney, so as one can imagine a large part of Reginae’s personality lies in advocating for change. She hopes that her articles might inspire someone else or even change the way people think.
