Police Respond to Reports of Shooting at YouTube Offices [Updated]

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office to shots fired at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California. They issued a warning to avoid the area.

At this time, April 3, 2018, 1:45 p.m. PT, the police are treating this as an “active shooter incident.” The sheriff’s office declined to offer more details, according to CBS News.

Vadim Lavrusik posted a tweet at 12:57 p.m. stating that there he heard shots fired and was barricaded inside the office with his co-workers.

Then, at 1:13 p.m., He wrote:

Safe. Got evacuated. Outside Now.

CBS reports they have confirmation San Fransisco General Hospital is on standby.

UPDATE: NBC News reports a local hospital acknowledges they have received three patients and another is expecting four or five.

An unnamed woman shot herself after opening fire on others in the building. There are four confirmed victims who are being treated at local hospitals.
