This has been a very upsetting season for many NFL teams. Whereas, there are a few teams that have proved sports critics wrong and had a successful season so far. Looking at the rankings for the week of Nov. 18 to 25, we can almost sum up which teams are looking to be going to the Superbowl, in these last four games of the NFL season.

The New Orleans Saints, have had a tremendous record-breaking season with Drew Brees leading them. They sit atop of the rest of the league at No. 1, with a winning record of 9-1. They have held the top spot for the last few weeks, and look to make a possible Super Bowl appearance at the end of the NFL season.

Sitting at No. 2 is the St. Louis Rams. The team currently has a 10-1 record but is not at the top because of last night’s huge game on November 19, 2018. The Rams faced off against the Chiefs with an ending score of 54 points. Any team that allows 51 points to be scored, is going to have a hard time playing against teams in the playoffs.

The No. 3 spot is held by the Kansas City Chiefs. They currently have a 9-2 record. Teams that allow 54 points to be scored against them are going to have a hard time in the playoffs. The Chiefs have had a successful season with the schedule they have this year, according to their record.

The New England Patriots have not had a surprising season nor a terrible one. However, they sit at where most sports analysts and critics would have them, No. 4. Led by Tom Brady, they are projected to reach the No. 1 or 2 spot by the end of the NFL season. Since picking up Josh Gordon early on in the season, the Pats are without a doubt, a favorite to go to the Superbowl.

No. 5 is taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger has an MVPesque season so far.

With the recent separation of Le’Veon Bell from the Steelers this season, the team has still managed to be doing very well. Bell recently announced that he wants a $17 million a year for four years, from the Steelers. If the team decides to bring him back, there would be no surprise that they become another Superbowl favorite, and move up in the rankings.

No. 6 is held by a team that most critics and sports analysts thought would not have as much success of a season that they are having. The Chicago Bears, led by Khalil Mack, Mitchell Trubisky, and coach Matt Nagy currently sit at a 7-3 record and also leading their division.

Mack, who is also leading the league in sacks, is having a “Defensive Player Of the Year” looking season so far. Chicago has scared many NFL teams this season with their tough, gritty defense and plenty of sacks. If they can continue to be consistent on offense just like their defense, they will be an exciting team for the rest of the NFL season.
