In the latest celebrity-related news, actress, and singer, Naya Rivera has been reported missing at Lake Piru located in California after boating with her four years old son. Officials stated at around 1 pm on July 8th, Naya rented a pontoon boat, and just after three hours later, her son was found asleep alone, but no sign of a guardian on board. Officials were then alerted.
The child informed officers, he and Naya were, in fact, swimming at one point, but the child was able to get back on board–although not clearly noted how– and the mother did not.
The vehicle Naya and her son traveled to Lake Piru were removed from the scene, while the boat was was still in the water.
Ventura Co. Sheriff suspended the search for the former Glee star until the early morning of July 9th for safety reasonings (and perhaps lack of proper equipment).
Many fans have already taken their thoughts and prayers to social media platforms to offer condolences, despite the fact, Naya has not been found, while others are remaining hopeful for the return of her safety.
Two of Naya’s former ‘Glee’ leading star co-workers are deceased. One of whom, Corey Monteith died of a drug overdoes in 2013 at the age of 31. In 2017, Mark Salling was found dead after being convicted of possessing child pornography. He was 35.
Naya, 33, is of Puerto Rican, African American, and German descent who shares custody of her only child with Ryan Dorsey.
