Krispy Kreme offers a “sweet reward” by are handing out free donuts as an incentive to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. On Monday, March 22, 2021, the world-famous donut franchise declared its new motivational promotion.
Anyone who presents their COVID-19 vaccination card at any U.S location with either one or both vaccines recorded is eligible for one free donut a day. Hold on, that is not all; the pot sweetens. These scrumptious little critters will be free for the rest of the year.
To qualify for a free donut, a vaccination card must be presented. Krispy Kreme employees are not allowed to give donuts with just proof from a vaccine sticker.
For those who have not been vaccinated yet, Krispy Kreme’s sweet reward promotion is without discrimination. Those who have not received their vaccine can enjoy a free donut and coffee every Monday from March 29 through May 24.
To help combat the continuous spread of different coronavirus variants, Krispy Kreme is stepping forward. By offering a “sweet reward,” they hope their incentive will encourage more people to get vaccinated.
“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible, and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” Chief Marketing Officer Dave Skena said in a statement.
Vaccinated or not, Krispy Kreme’s sweet reward allows everyone to keep their dough in their pockets because these “dough-nuts” are free.
