“Dynasty” star Elizabeth Gilles and music composer Michael Corcoran finally exchanged nuptials at a charming farm in New Jersey on Aug. 8th, 2020. The wedding was previously planned to happen back in April, however, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The two of them dated for half a dozen years and finally decided to get married. Gilles resided in Atlanta while her husband to be resided in Los Angeles caretaking for the couple’s dogs. Meanwhile, she commuted to the west coast in between shoots for her hit show “Dynasty” which got picked up for a third season.

Corcoran did not want to relocate because of his fondness of the L.A. area and was reluctant to relocate to Atlanta. He traveled with the ring in tow waiting for the right moment to propose, he led her down to their backyard and got down on one knee and popped the big question she said yes.

A date was originally set for April 25, and the plan was to get married in Atlanta at St. Regis. Like other couples who were in love, they were forced to delay the wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Even though they had to wait, the couple had a celebration on the 25th. They were joined by close friends and family who voluntarily quarantined together, the wedding took place on Aug 8th, They invited 10 guests which included her grandparents.

On the wedding day,  Gilles donned a caped satin dress from Brit Woods Design in Atlanta, and the groom was in a traditional black and white tuxedo.

“Once I put the Oscar de la Renta veil on — that’s what sold it for me,” Gilles said. “It was so 1960s.”
