Dr. Annette Teijeiro is seeking to serve Nevada as the next Republican Congressperson for District 3. She does not back away from conflict and will use this principle in Washington D.C. when fighting for the needs and interests of her constituents.

Nevadans need a person who can get the job done in Congress and return the country to its position as one of the most promising in our world. Dr. Teijeiro is that person.

As a bicultural bilingual Latina, the doctor is uniquely qualified to reach out to Hispanics in Nevada, who are 28 percent of the population. She understands the day-to-day struggles of all constituents including Nevada’s Naturalized Citizens. Growing up as a child of low-income Latino parents she learned at an early age that success requires integrity, education, and tenacious endurance to confront challenges.

Dr. Teijeiro has a proven track record of leadership and service. She graduated with honors from high school, was accepted to three medical schools as an undergraduate, and attained a medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Obamacare: The Biggest Tax Increase for the Middle Class – Ever

She will continue the fight to repeal the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare. As a physician who has two decades of healthcare policy experience, her perspective of the ACA is clearly defined.

Teijeiro states:

It is the biggest tax increase for the middle class, ever. Because there are no true incentives to reduce premiums and Congress decided what a policy needed to include, which justified every rate increase under the sun.

She also contends that Obamacare interferes with the sacred patient-physician relationship by taking treatment decisions out of the individual’s hands. PPO, HMO, managed care agencies dictate what, how, and when for every aspect of healthcare.

The Middle Class Is Disappearing

Even though slavery was abolished after the Civil War, Teijeiro argues that the “lack of opportunities today enslaves us.” Her point is valid when taking into account how the middle class is being eliminated.

Today’s youth graduate college with so much debt. Dr. Teijeiro says they graduate with a “homeless mortgage” that cannot be written off when filing taxes. When expenses are greater than take-home income, the mismatch creates economic slaves to big government and special interests.

Dr. Teijeiro will fight to make serious changes in Washington D.C. in order to secure a greater standard of life for all Nevadans.
