In-person learning and remote learning are used to determine if someone should repeat a grade. In case anyone did not read the Promotion Policy, CPS is mixing 2021 grades with 2022 grades. But, there is a twist. If someone’s grades are bad in 2022, CPS decided to give people another chance. However, they mix those two years together if anyone has failing grades.

Why did people think it was bad?

People thought it was bad because they thought CPS was mixing the grades in general leading everyone to think they will. go to summer school, but that is not true. If they are above a C in 2022, they do not have to worry because it does not affect their grade.

Mollison is not a bad school but the rules are not very good. But, they do have a good cell phone policy. The cell phone policy is to prevent students from creating drama or sending people to harm students. But there are also some downsides. What if they need to contact their parent when there is no guardian around? What if they are choking or injured in a nonvisible place?

Another thing many dislike about Mollison is its choice of security, teachers, and staff. A lot of people have anger issues they cannot control that is why many say pick wisely. There are adults at Mollison who argue with little kids and cuss them out but as adults, they should be the bigger person.

Why do people dislike Mollison so much?

Mollison is a good school but has not-so-good people. Mollison is ranked as the topĀ  #1512 school in the Chicago Public School (CPS) but this year’s principal is not more aware or involved in things in Irvin C. Mollison. This columnist has been at Mollison for seven years. The school has had great principals but it is different from the one we have now.
