Since Apple started creating computers, the company and technology have come a long way, especially in the evolution from the PowerBook to the MacBook Air.
The PowerBook 100, Apple’s first successful laptop was released on Oct. 21, 1991, with a price tag of $2,500. This Mac portable series was on the market from 1991-97.
In May 1994, the PowerBook 500 series was introduced. This series included a trackpad, built-in microphone, built-in Ethernet, and stereo speakers. Some models included a display 9.5 in either a black and white or color and a Motorola CPU. The price of the Powerbook 500 was $2,270.
In the same month, PowerBook G3 was released. It was Apple’s most customizable laptop. This model’s key features were a 14.1-inch screen, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives, and built-in video output. The price of $1,999.
On June 21, 1999, at Macworld Expo in New York City, the iBook G3 was announced and released. The clamshell was the company’s first iBook design and was influenced by the first iMac. It came in two translucent colors in a polycarbonate shell, 12.1-inch high-resolution active-matrix display, and wireless networking. Its 6-hour lithium-ion battery was powered by a Power PC, G3 processor.
When the iBook was first plugged in, it glowed amber and when it was fully charged turned green. When the unit was asleep or turned off an indicator beacon light shine. Apple decreased the price to $1,599.
The PowerBook Titanium G4 was announced at Macworld Expo in San Franciso on Jan. 9, 2001. Unlike the iBook laptop before the before this one had longer battery life.
The first MacBook Pro was released in February 2006 and the MacBook Air an introduced on May 16, 2006. It was first only available in black and white.
The Intel processors in CPUs were switched by Apple to reduce heat and improve performance. By doing that, it gave Apple the freedom to produce and design a more modern-looking device than anything which had gone before.
During 2008, the MacBook was the best-selling laptop of any band in the United States. In the beginning stages, there were three main design iterations: a polycarbonate and fiberglass combination, an aluminum unibody, polycarbonate unibody. Unfortunately, in July 2011 the original MacBook Air discontinued. It was replaced effectively with MacBook Air, but it would have more style than before.
If choosing the Touch Bar MacBook Pro, it will cost $1,799, which is a noteworthy increase above other Mac Portable on the market. On the other hand, it is a significantly better PC, with twice as much stockpiling as the non-Touch Bar Pro, an eighth-gen processor, True Tone show, and four USB-C ports.
Presently, the 2018 MacBook Air at long last fills an undeniable hole in Apple’s lineup, striking a similar parity of conveyability and execution that made the past age a runaway hit. Basically, it is now the ideal PC for anybody searching for a MacOS PC for “ordinary” things, such as perusing the web, drafting records, noting messages, watching motion pictures, or even periodic work in Adobe’s innovative suite.
