Another Nor’Easter on the Way

Winter is not over for the United States. The clean up from the nor’easter that hit Friday, March 2, 2018. Millions of people are still without power, but Mother Nature is not done yet.

Another nor’easter is expected to strike the New England area. By 8:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, CNN weather maps indicate there will be snow, sleet, and freezing rain over Pennsylvania, New York, and New England. Maine and Boston will receive the brunt of the wintery mix.

Wind gusts will range from 30 to over 100 miles per hour. By Friday the mix will turn to heavy snow by Friday. Snow will blanket New England, predominately in Boston and most of Maine.

Wednesday, March 7, the snow will begin moving across the Dakotas and Minnesota. Minor power outages are expected from Minnesota down to parts of Tennessee. The hardest hit in the Midwest will possibly be Waterloo and Omaha.

Currently, there is moderate snowfall in the mountains of Minnesota. There are heavy rains in Missouri and in parts of Tennessee.
