Adult film star who goes by the name Jessica Jaymes, died after suffering a cardiac arrest, as reported by RadarOnline.com. Jaymes’ real name is Jessica Michael Redding.
A friend went to check on the adult star Tuesday afternoon because she had not heard from her in a while. When the friend arrived at her home, she was unconscious. When the fire department arrived, they pronounced her dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said that Jaymes was discovered at her home in San Fernando Valley about 4 p.m. On Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019. She was already dead when they found her. She was 43 years old.
A spokesperson for the fire department said, “If the paramedics arrive on scene and the person is deceased and beyond medical care, we do not transport a deceased person to the hospital.”
There will be an autopsy for the adult film star at the L.A. Coroner’s Office. According to TMZ, the cause of death is unknown.
Reportedly, Jaymes had a history of seizures and authorities found prescription drugs in her home.
She began her career in the adult film industry in 2002. She was 26 years old at the time. Her big break came in 2004 when she was signed by Hustler. Her debut in the adult film industry came in 2005. She was Hustler’s “Honey of the Year” that same year.
Jaymes is best known for becoming Hustler’s first contract model to become a member of the AVN Hall of Fame, according to TMZ.
She was born in Anchorage, Alaska. She attended New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico. Then, she went on to attend Rio Salado Community College and taught fourth and sixth grade for three years before she became an adult film actress.
Jaymes stared in over 200 adult films.
