4 Chicago Shootings Over Weekend

In Chicago, 17 people were shot, and one man was found dead over the weekend.

The dead man was found unresponsive outside, on Jan. 14, 2018, in the West Pullman neighborhood. The man had wounds on his head, arms, and legs, according to police.

Seventeen people were shot between Friday, Jan. 12, and Monday morning Jan. 15. Six people were shot on Friday, eight people throughout the day on Saturday, and three people were shot on Sunday.

Someone opened fire at a party around 4 p.m. The shooting took place Saturday in the 3900 Block of West Arlington Street in the Lawndale neighborhood. An 18-year-old female was among the three people injured in the shooting on the West Side.

The 18-year-old was one of six teenagers injured by shootings over the weekend.

There was also a triple shooting that involved multiple casualties. There were four total shooting over the weekend, according to the Chicago Tribune.
