3 Killed and 2 Injured in Virginia Car Accident

A three-vehicle crash killed three people and injured two others. According to Virginia State Police, the accident occurred om Sunday, around 3 a.m. ET, in Sussex County.

Christy Allen was driving her Kia Soul eastbound on Route 460 when she crossed the center lane and struck a Honda Accord head on. Allen and Roquisha Shonta Broady, her passenger, were killed.

The driver of the Honda suffered major injuries. Dequincy Lamar Jackson was a passenger in the Honda. He died on impact.

A Toyota Scion rear ended the Honda. The driver of the Scion had minor injuries.

All three people who died were not wearing seat belts. Police believe that alcohol was a contributing factor to the accident.
